Kim Coles Bringing ‘The Power of Laughter’ to Dallas

Award winning actress, comedian, best selling author and speaker, Kim Coles, best known for her roles on Fox TV’s In Living Color and Living Single, will be coming to Dallas, September 13 for a one night only, one woman show as a part of the inaugural traveling series “The Power of Laughter Heals the Soul”, presented by Williamson Media Group and Soul Reborn.

Coles will light up the stage at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters’ Clarence Muse Café Theatre with high energy skits, entertaining comedy, and an intimate discussion of her bouts with depression, weight loss (as publicized on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club), weight gain, and shopping habits that left her in financial despair. Through this discussion of her most personal struggles, and now triumph back to the top, Coles aims to inspire audience members to press on, keep their heads up, and realize that despite failure, they can rise again.

“I am thrilled to bring Kim Coles to Dallas because she truly stirred my soul during a recent encounter,” Williamson Media Group Co-Founder Cheryl Polote-Williamson said. “Kim has an infectious smile, a jolly laugh, and a big, yet humble personality. Kim is exactly what some people need in order to heal some hurts, restore some hope, and muster up the courage to share a journey that they cannot possibly take on alone. She has the ability to help people laugh and find joy even when they are faced with trials and tough circumstances.”

“The Power of Laughter Heals the Soul” with Kim Coles debuts on September 13th at 7:30 p.m. at TBAAL’s Clarence Muse Café Theatre (1309 Canton St., Dallas) for one night only. General Admission is $50 and VIP Table Packages are available beginning at $200 (excluding the cost of the ticket per seat).  All proceeds from ticket sales go to benefit Soul Reborn, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for underserved women, providing lectures, classes, summits and conferences on leadership, entrepreneurship, money management, etiquette, story telling, and philanthropy.

For group or VIP Table Packages, interested parties should contact Cheryl Williamson at info@cherylpwilliamson.com; otherwise, general admission tickets are available through Ticketmaster here.
