This national scholarship program seeks to help advance the educational careers of high schoolers who who are interested in attending one of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).  Endorsed by African American leaders across the nation, including Atlanta’s Mayor Andre Dickens, the curriculum was co-authored by Dr. Matthew Daniels of Good of All and Anthony Jones of Bethune Cookman University to encourage future generations of students to become ambassadors for Dr. King’s vision to our nation and our world.

“Dr. King’s unifying principles offer a proven educational antidote to the forces of racism, conflict, and violence in our world,” said Good of All’s founder, Dr. Matthew Daniels, who teaches human rights at the Institute of World Politics in Washington, DC.

“Now more than ever, it is imperative to raise up a new generation of Dr. Kings and Amb. Youngs who can lead our nation down a better path to a more peaceful future,” he added.

This scholarship program was made possible with seed funding from McGraw Hill Education and will be administered by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

Good of All (GOA) is a non-profit, non-partisan education organization dedicated to the universal rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  To encourage a new generation to become champions for the non-violent principles that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., gave his life to promote in our world, GOA has partnered with the Andrew Young Foundation and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to develop an HBCU scholarship program in honor of Ambassador Andrew Young.
