#Giveaway Bayou City Art Festival Returns to Houston

The Art Colony Association, Inc. (ACA) will celebrate 48 years of fine art and giving back to local nonprofits as it spotlights 300 artists at this year’s Bayou City Art Festival in Houston’s Memorial Park, Friday, March 29 through Sunday, March 31, and as an official Media Sponsor, Black Texas has your chance to win tickets for you and a friend.

As one of the nation’s premier outdoor fine art events, the three-day festival will provide patrons with the opportunity to personally meet artists, view original works, and purchase world class art. The festival benefits local nonprofit partners and features live music, local food vendors and food trucks, beverages, entertainment, a Children’s Creative Zone and much more. An exhibition of student artwork composed of the top 30 finalists from the middle school art competition will also be featured.

“We are excited to be back in Memorial Park for a fun and memorable three-day art festival with our sponsors, local nonprofit partners, artists and supporters,” said Roger Bare, Executive Director of Art Colony Association. “As we enter our 48th year, we aim to provide a unique patron experience at Bayou City Art Festival.”

Celebrating 48 years since the founding of the Westheimer Art Festival, now known as Bayou City Art Festival, ACA has provided a venue for more than 20,000 artists to showcase their work to thousands of art lovers from all over the world. Every year, a new jury selects participating artists, some new and some returning. This helps create a fresh and different festival year after year.
