Houston-Based Beauty Brand Lands Deal with Walmart

Against steep odds, facing off with more than 450 businesses from across the country, including 20 from Texas, Houston-based entrepreneur Lyndsey Brantley and her skincare line, Camellia Alise, entered into the gauntlet of Walmart’s annual open call for new products.

Camellia Alise is an all-natural line of skincare products formulated to prevent ingrown hairs and razor bumps and keep the skin healthy and radiant. The name was derived by combining “Camellia Oil,” the exclusive ingredient weaved into their products, and the middle name of our company's founder, Lyndsey Alise.

Lyndsey battled with sensitive skin due to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). After noticing a lack of shaving products to address these symptoms, Lyndsey was inspired to become a licensed medical aesthetics practitioner and create Camellia Alise.

“I am thrilled to have the Camellia Alise line in one of the largest retailers in the country,” says founder Lyndsey Brantley. “I believe in this product wholeheartedly, so it’s validating to have Walmart wanting to carry my line.”

The Camellia Alise Fresh Start Exfoliant will be available for purchase on Walmart.com and Jet.com in the coming weeks.
