Mr. Figaro brings Island Vibes to Dallas Music Scene
Diversity is one thing that makes Dallas such a great place to live. People move here from all over the world bringing their unique culture, background and dreams. The music scene in Dallas is a reflection of this growth. Recording artist Mr. Figaro relocated to Dallas three years ago and with him came a new hot sound and perspective that has gained popularity in Texas and abroad.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida to a Haitian family, Mr. Figaro grew up listening to many different kinds of music, including the likes of Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and Usher. He fell in love with music at age eight watching Michael Jackson perform, and has been recording and performing music for 15 years. As a child, Figaro was raised around creativity and art with his mother working in the fashion industry as a model and modeling coach. He decided to move to Dallas to take his career to the next level by gaining national exposure, and his latest single, "Nana," is a dance track heavy on afro-beat and island vibes. Mr. Figaro's motivation for recording "Nana" was that he wanted people to dance and enjoy themselves.
"We go through so many emotions in life and I know for many people music is an escape,” he explained. “I want people to be able to have fun with my music."
Mr. Figaro gives a hot unique sound to music with a mixture of rhythm and blues, reggae, dance and hip hop. On his forthcoming album, Figaro also as a song, "Warrior," that is about encouraging the broken and depressed to keep going, with the message of the song being that whatever it is you are doing that’s positive in life — keep going. Consistency is key.
As Mr. Figaro continues to gain stardom and popularity in the US, his talent is making waves beyond the states in Nigeria. Mr. Figaro credits his production team at Loud Crowd Beats and his management team for working diligently beside him to create music that everyone can enjoy.
