Sheri Marshall is an Austin native, graduated from the Austin Public School system. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Austin Peay State University, Clarksville TN, Accounting Degree from University Alaska Anchorage AK, Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship from St Edwards University in Austin TX. Sheri is a retired Finance and Accounting Pay Officer, Alaska Air National Guard, Anchorage.

Sheri is the proud owner of Umoveit-WeCleanit Commercial Janitorial Company; this company has won numerous bids for contracts as a Women Owned African American Janitorial company in a male dominated field. Umoveit-WeCleanit Commercial Janitorial has opened many of the new stores in the Domain and has numerous contracts all over the metro.

Most recently she received the first contract with Austin Housing Authority; she was able to put seven formerly incarcerated citizens back to work. Umoveit-WeCleanit Commercial Janitorial is a Second Chance Employer we have a partnership with Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Reentry and Integration Division we hire and train those that are being released or have been recently released from incarceration. Sheri and her husband Dwain train and put them to work in the Janitorial field and Post Construction field. Numerous awards have been received for her Community Service.

Sheri is featured in the September issue of the Austin Woman Magazine as an ATX Woman to Watch, the November 2018 and 2019 issue of Austin Women Magazine. Sheri is featured in the Austin Business Journal as a Finalist for the Profiles in Power for 2018 & 2019 and named one of the most Influential Women in Central Texas. Sheri is featured as one of the 50 Power House Black Women in the February 2020 issue of the Austin Women’s Magazine. Sheri is also the Owner of Best Choice Mobile Notary.

Sheri is a Mortgage Loan Closer for title companies, lenders and banks across the globe. Sheri is the “Preferred Notary” for several Rehabilitation hospitals, nursing homes, retirement centers and Attorneys in the metro. She provides free service to Senior citizens not able to pay for services; she also provides free services to inmates in the city jail in the Austin metro. She is a Texas Notary Public Trainer. She trains new Notaries for local Credit Unions and Banks and the general public. Her training are held every two months in the metro Houston, Dallas and Beaumont.

Sheri is the President of National Council of Negro Women, Greater Austin Section and past president of the National Association of Black Accountants-Austin Centex Chapter. She is a member of Top Ladies of Distinction and serves as the Top Teens Assistant Adviser; she is a charter member of Iota Phi Lambda Business and Professional Women’s Sorority Epsilon Chi Chapter, she is a mentor to many, she is a Texas Notary Public Trainer.
